Holistic Pulsing
Healing through rhythm and movement
Rocked back into wholeness
Have you ever noticed how safe you feel when someone gently rocks you? Babies fall asleep that way.
Adults, too, can release years of tension through the simple rhythm of being moved.
Holistic Pulsing is a body-based healing modality developed in the 1970s. In a session, you lie fully clothed on a massage table while I gently rock, stretch, and move your body in flowing rhythms.
These movements create waves through your tissues, joints, and cells, inviting deep relaxation, release, and reconnection.
As a certified facilitator, I create a supported space for you to activate the self-healing abilties of your body.
What does Holistic Pulsing do?
Releases stored physical and emotional tension
Loosens joints and improves circulation
Helps regulate the nervous system
Restores natural body rhythms and flow
Invites a state of deep rest, safety, and surrender
Many people describe it as being “rocked back into themselves.” It is gentle, playful, and deeply grounding.
What does science say?
While formal scientific studies are limited, Holistic Pulsing is based on principles of body psychotherapy and somatic release. Research into rhythmic movement and gentle touch shows positive effects on the parasympathetic nervous system, supporting relaxation, emotional regulation, and trauma release.
Clients consistently report a profound sense of peace, connection, and renewed energy after sessions.
When is Holistic Pulsing right for you?
When stress or trauma has left you tense and “braced”
When you find it hard to relax or let go
When you long for gentleness, play, and safety
When you want to reconnect with your body in a non-intrusive way
Is one session enough?
One session can give you a taste of deep relaxation. But real transformation, learning to trust, to let go, to inhabit your body again, grows with repeated sessions.
Think of it like learning to float: the more often you allow yourself to be carried, the more natural it feels.
Who is it for?
Holistic Pulsing is suitable for almost anyone, including people who don’t feel comfortable with “traditional massage.” Because the work is clothed and extremely gentle, it’s especially supportive for those with high sensitivity, trauma histories, or stress.
